Is Your Bathroom Ready For Inspection?

Selling a home quickly has a lot to do with how your prepare before ever calling a real estate agent. If you're not into DIY and don't want to pay someone to have your home look its best then the honest truth is you're not going to get top dollar.

The bathroom, and especially the master bath, is one of the most critiqued rooms in a house. Luckily for you, making a bathroom pop doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg and can be done without too much effort on your part.

Here are a few low-investment but high-reward ideas to get the most bang for your buck and woo potential buyers.

1: Brighten it up!

Give the walls a fresh coat of paint to cover up any dings and watermarks from years of use.

2: Mirror, mirror on the wall.

Nobody likes a mirror that's marred. Replacing your mirror is a quick and cheap way to make your bathroom shine. Bonus points if your invest in a smart mirror.

3: Light 'em up!

Lighting is crucial. Replace any burnt-out bulbs and if your fixture is a relic of the past, consider upgrading.

4: Fluff and Puff.

Put out clean, fresh towels. Nothing says "spa day" like a fresh set of fluffy white towels.

5: Scrub a dub dub!

I know. Everybody hates cleaning grout. Almost as much as they hate dirty grout. I recommend a simple solution of baking soda, peroxide, and a toothbrush.

And last but not least, keep the lid DOWN. Nobody wants to view toilet rings or be reminded of their pet peeve while considering if they can live in your home.
